GUYS AND DOLLS

  • LISTED BELOW ARE THE VARIOUS ROLES AND THE STUDENTS WHO ARE PLAYING IN THOSE ROLES.

  • WITHIN EACH CATAGORY ARE DIFFERENT ITEMS THE STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO BRING. 

About Under Garments

The reason we require undergarments for every student is to make it possible for them to change in and out of costumes quickly in a large room with lots of people. There is not enough time for students to wait in line for the privacy of a bathroom.

 

Knowing that, please make sure your child is well covered and comfortable in their undergarments. They cannot be too baggy or they will not fit under costumes and they should not be too tight so that your child does not feel uncomfortably exposed.

FOR GIRLS We like scoop necked tanks, no spaghetti straps. Not too high around the neck so it won't show under a costume. Not too low around the neck to maintain modesty. Booty shorts or bike shorts should be long enough to cover well. Two or three sets are ideal so that they can be taken home and washed regularly. A sports bra is great for shows as well. Please provide more than one for shows in order to wash in between

For Boys A short sleeve t-shirt that fits like an undershirt. Not too baggy and not uncomfortably tight. Compression shorts or bike shorts are to be worn OVER underwear, NOT INSTEAD OF UNDERWEAR. Two or three sets are ideal so that they can be taken home and washed regularly.

Gamblers and Crapshooter

  • All of the girls will need black jazz shoes.

  • The Boys should have mens black dance shoes or shoes that they can dance in. 

  • All of the students in this section need black socks and black shorts, bicycle shorts, and an undershirt. Black t-shirt for boys, and a tight fit black tank for girls. 

  • Boys fit long sleeve and button down / yes- even the girls.
